Parietaria Mottle Virus (PMoV) is considered as an emerging plant pathogen in the Mediterranean region. Mixed infections with other tomato and pepper infecting viruses have been reported (as ToBRFV, TWSV, CMV), resulting in an increased appearance of symptoms.

PMoV specific primers ensure specific and sensitive end-point PCR detection.
